Topiramate (Topirol) is a medicine used to help control seizures for those with epilepsy. However, it can also be prescribed for those that have a history of chronic migraine headaches. Admenta (Memantine HCL) is used to treat Alzheimer's disease and the confusion, memory problems and difficulty carrying out daily tasks it can cause. This medicine helps to decrease abnormal brain activity, and it can also block the action of a certain natural substance in the brain known as glutamate, believed by many leading medical experts to be linked to Alzheimer's symptoms.

Lamictal DC (Lamotrigine) is an anticonvulsant used to reduce the frequency and severity of seizures. The use of Lamictal DC (Lamotrigine) 5 mg is often part of an overall treatment plan for those that are experiencing partial seizures or seizures that don’t occur very often at all. Individuals that have seizures due to epilepsy often have to take a variety of medications in order to successfully control it. In such an instance, the use of this medication will need to be ongoing. Gabapentin is also prescribed for shingles, restless leg syndrome, diabetic neuropathy and menopausal hot flashes.

Donecept can help improve mental function by increasing the amount of certain natural substances in the brain. The medication can be used to treat Alzheimer's disease related symptoms such as dementia. The tablets cannot be used to cure Alzheimer's disease but it may slow the deterioration of the patient's ability to think, communicate, memory and the ability to perform daily activities.
